Entry Criteria

Application for entry to courses at the WA College of Agriculture – Cunderdin usually exceed available places.


The following selection procedure is used in the year prior to entry.

  • Student application received by the College.
  • Telephone contact is made by the College to arrange an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal. Applicants are requested to bring their last two school reports, any work experience reports and supporting references or other documentation.
  • A “Confidential Report” is obtained from the applicant’s current school.
  • The applicant and parent / s attend an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.
  • A full tour of facilities is provided following the interview.
  • Selection is based on the following criteria:

  • Performance at interview demonstrating a desire for entry to the College.
  • A positive “Confidential Report” received from the applicant’s current school.
  • The applicant and parent / s attend an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.
  • Positive school reports indicating:
    • Application to studies
    • Satisfactory classroom behaviour
    • Positive attitude / work ethic
    • Sound performance
