There are a range of subsidies available to students attending the WA College of Agriculture – Cunderdin.
State Allowances
The State Government offers a Student Boarding Away from Home Allowance not subject to a means test of $1,215.00 per annum. This allowance is paid direct to parents in fourth term.
For students not eligible for AIC or Youth Allowance, a Student Boarding Away from Home Allowance of $1,000.00 is available.
Allowances for text books ($135.00) and clothing ($115.00) are available subject to mean tests.
Commonwealth Allowances
Assistance for Isolated Children’s
Allowance - is available to students living more than 56
km from the nearest Senior High School. (This allowance
of $6,530 is not means tested with further allowances of $1,164
available subject to a means test.)
Youth Allowance - available to students 16 years or older.
This is subject to a means test and is paid direct to the
student. Both Commonwealth Allowances cannot be claimed.

Road Travel Subsidy
Transport Department pays a Road Travel Subsidy of 18.68 cents per kilometre when students have to be transported more than 56 kilometres to:
