Students Recognised For Academic Excellence

Nickalos Emin from York was awarded a Certificate of Distinction for Plant Production and Marketing and Megan Huckstep from Beacon was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for her Year 12 studies at the Curriculum Council Awards night.

Young women are making their mark in the agricultural industry in a variety of roles gaining employment at the WA College of Agriculture as Technical Officers and Agriculture teachers, training the next generation of farmers.

WA Training Awards

College Piggery Technical Officer Miss Amanda Colli was recently named Primary Industries Trainee of the Year. Miss Colli is a graduate of the College being named Dux of the College in 2005.

The main College campus is located 2km north of the Cunderdin townsite and is adjacent to the Cunderdin Airfield.


 

Australian Training Award

The WA College of Agriculture - Cunderdin was named winner of the prestigious Australian Training Award in November 2006. The College is the first WA school to win this award.

The College's promotional DVD has been completed. This DVD was professional produced and covers all aspects of life at the WA College of Agriculture - Cunderdin. Interested persons can acquire a copy by contacting the College directly.
