The
Year 12 course consists of three compulsory subjects
with a choice from a large list of optional subjects.
Students can select optional subjects
to design a course with a focus on either:
- Agribusiness.
- Trades.
- Agricultural Enterprise.
Students will receive guidance and
counselling to assist them to choose subjects appropriate
to access future intended pathways.
Compulsory Subjects:
- English 2A, 2B or 1C, 1D
- Farm Skills (Incorporating Certificate II in Agriculture specialisations)
- Physical Education
Optional Subjects (Choose 3 of the following):
- Modelling with Maths
- Muresk Maths
- Plant Production and Marketing
- Animal Production and Marketing
- Management and Marketing
- Senior Science
- Automotive Workshop – (Incorporating Certificate II in Automotive)
- Engineering– (Incorporating Certificate II in Engineering)
- Furniture Design and Technology (Incorporating Certificate I in Furnishing)
- Building Construction – (Incorporating Certificate II in General Construction)
- Additional Farm Skills
Short Course:
In Year 12 students completing
Certificate II in Wool Handling can elect to undertake
an onsite after hours program with C. Y. O'Connor TAFE
to achieve a Certificate III in Wool Clip Preparation.
This ten week course will give students the equivalent
of an ‘Owner/Classer Certificate’. |
